After working for DXC since 1994, I finally got redundancy in Jan this year. To be Fair, DXC were very good, and honoured my legacy T&C's, and I got my full 2 year redundancy payment. Think I was the last in the company with those T&C's. Actually got a pay rise a month before I left, first one in 14 years!! No wonder people are sick of tis company. Good luck to all who remain.

I stayed because the job was easy, and I wanted my redundancy as I had good legacy terms. Incidentally, this was in the UK.
I don’t understand this Redundant thing. Since DXC has so many people
doing basically the same job functions, now can you be laid off for Redundancy?
In the US most states have the right to hire, which really means the right to fire unless it’s discriminatory.
So expaln please. Also Explain why you stay at a employer you dislike so much, why not find a new employer and at least be somewhat happy going to work on Monday
Which country are you from OP?
Trumps economic adjustments just cost me like 3x what I'm expecting to get out of a DXC redundancy, and equally on the basis my salary has been on a downward trend for the last 15 years in comparison to inflation - it seems irrelevant whether I stay or go, and whether I contribute or not. Colleagues who are utterly useless, seem to get a pay rise regardless. It doesn't encourage anyone to want to contribute. I won't be lining the pockets of American crooks.
Fake post - you normally get 3 years redundancy and a kiss from Madonna
