If it happened, my guess would be Amazon based on some of the partnerships with them the last few years. It probably wouldn’t have the same regulatory scrutiny as if they tried to sell to another health insurance company. There’s been a huge push towards AWS for a bunch of stuff, too. Then again, I might be huffing too much glue coping with my own layoff last week.
If that were the case all the tech roles that were eliminated wouldn't be reposted on the HIH job board. They're also standing up a new call center in the Philippines so the customer advocates are next it seems. Someone that works in digital marketing that I know has said all talent marketing is pivoting to advertising in Manila and creating training assets for them and HIH. This is 100% a pull out of the US talent market for cheaper labor abroad.
All the major acquisitions get blocked…Humana, Anthem, etc. Will never happen
Impossible, it would be blocked for Antitrust to preserve competition, can’t have oligopoly
For the steadfast, for the complacent and everything in between….best to start networking.
