I have heard ~1,500 EAOI were accepted, unsure if that includes the 600 recently announced out of San Ramon. If this numbers are true, they are underwhelming. Quite a bit to go to get to the anticipated 6k-8.

A touch touch under 10% in my operating group.
Those numbers will sure be higher if accurate come selection time. The benefit of regular EOI and AEOI are the same , lot of folks waiting to see final orgs, job locations etc . If you know you’re not sticking around why not coast a little longer for extra pay.
A lot will come in the second wave as EOI, only those who had jobs lined up or were frustrated went by AEOI. Others will collect paychecks, and medical benefits until the very end.
I know for sure of at least one….Me! Best to all you as you endure the process.
This really goes against the 10% of eligible people in US that I've neen hearing.
What ya expect? These were I am retiring/not leaving CA/got something lined up crowd. Newly panicked in the basins from TH news ain’t have enough time to process and hit button - slick move on timing n info black hole
There will be plenty more EOI later. A wave 2 experienced hire with > 30 yr experience but < 25 years with CVX stands to gain a lot for staying on ~6 more months.
