Minimum of 125 people laid off.
I’ve seen people say that some employees are being given 60 days notice and some have been given 2 weeks and I’m just wondering if that’s the case. If so, why would they do that?
Finally. The lies that are being posted about giving a severance and a notice. Oh and the biggest going terminal based. How about in another country good luck getting that American based customer service. Whatever you have to do to cut costs. But the lack of empathy for people with families, mortgages, etc.
Moving operations back to terminal levels is one thing but doing so without offering severance packages or even basic empathy is unacceptable. These were dedicated employees who deserved transparency and respect. The way this was handled speaks volumes.
Not all the positions went to the terminals. Evidently outsourcing jobs to other countries is a great way to reduce overhead as well.
