So, now we have seen the new high level organization charts, it looks like shuffling the deckchairs on the Titanic!
Why can’t the BOD see the problem is not the structure, it’s the incompetent leaders that will remain in place. CVX keeps using consultants to transform to keep up with XoM but it’s all a joke. Removing the people that do the work at the lower levels is not the issue, it the weak, incompetent leadership the company has.
Read this post in 3 or 4 years after this “reorg” fails and BCG are back again helping us transform. Shareholders should question the BOD integrity.
