That town hall was brutal! It was worse than Valenzuela’s hairline mid 2024 and just like her hair there is no coming back from this!
Things will either get worse, or stay the same, except with will.i.am getting to fly first class on the public education budget.
The rebrand was launched by the CEOs previously unemployed friend and someone who led marketing unsuccessfully in a once growing business unit.
Both of them have giant egos, and their teams are already quitting on them. This sh-t will be as good as it gets.

I'm embarrassed by the flood of sycophants playing the LinkedIn self-marketing game because it's what marketing wants. We have entered the branding social media age like drunken 50 year olds: smart enough to know better but FOMO'd into playing in a space to keep our jobs. Hint: no one cares who your mentors were.

There was a town hall today? If so, this isn’t the first time my entire division was left off the invite. Wtf.
Genuinely so bad. Never in my tenure at Pearson have I felt less inspired. Goals are completely impossible to hit. I don’t care what that sales op formula tells or that we’re currently up. They’re either intentionally setting us all up to fail or we’re being led my id--ts. Both options are pretty bad.
They simply don't care about any of us. Look at the goal the ESS team was given. Today's cheerleading session was a joke. A distraction. Heartless, mindless and gutless "leadership."
It was a lesson in corporate-speak at it's finest. NO mention of the fact that they have stripped the website, exam objectives, and exams of anything related to DEI. A totally spineless group that are leaders in name only. Truly pathetic.
