401K Down 100K in Two Days

Could be a good buying opportunity with dollar cost averaging when the dust settles,

Recession incoming, it's the most ridiculous self inflicted wound since Brexit. Trump believes that China is going to back down, they don't have elections over there and can actually disappear dissenters, unfortunately for our dipsh-t leader, he can't do that, everyone is going to be very pi---d off at MAGA soon, it's medicine alright, but not the kind he thinks.

I’m not 100% invested in Chevron stock through my 401K. While I’m down, I’m not getting ki-led. I turned over my 401K years ago to the Fidelity managed account. Think about it. The market is still higher than it was a year ago.

@aw, The the record high inflation and wasted spending of the last 4 years prompt a similar response? Asking for a friend.

Are we winning yet? For those of us former and current low level employees, this type of loss is so devasting for our current & future financial stability. It's nice that some of you can think about that this is a good time to buy and buy low, for some of us, we're just trying to get by.

Total overreaction. Countries like Vietnam that had a 85+ import tariff are already negotiating and open to a zero % tariff.

The outcry tells me that most people are bad at negotiating.

Very true. Those who have some dry powder should pounce. This is nothing but market volatility based on fear. No actual results have even materialized. It's like Bitcoin going up erratically based on nothing.

That's all? You must not have much in the market.
