Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

The sneakiest way to do this

If I was the evil Intel I would do the layoff prior to 11/15 so that all 8 weeks of redeployment would take place in 2022. Meaning no annual bonuses (EB) paid to anyone impacted. Although they’d still get the Q4 QPB (if there is one).

Who wants to bet this is EXACTLY what happens?

Intel is not evil. They are a highly ethical and pure of heart company. Managers truly care about the employees. Everyone thinks so.

Ummm...
First, they said 9 weeks of redeployment.
Second, counting backwards from January 1 would be November 6, not November 15.

ELT already told employees Q1 which for some the last day will be around 1/15 . Some people will (some have already) get their notification as early as 11/15 but their last day will be in Q1'23. No tricks on this one.

Pray that your organization have their act together so they can inform sooner than later to avoid the agony of their employees(family).
