Is it 100% certain it's layoff-related?

Last Thursday was a big layoff day for my group. It was a bloodbath.
My mass layoff call was sent out to us as an org update

I've had five meetings so far today, none of which have been me getting laid off. They're all normal meetings about work I'm working on. What your meeting is about, I have no idea nor does anyone on here unless your boss is reading this lol
I just wanted to know if people were being scheduled for other things outside of being laid off, in hopes of calming myself down. I'm grasping at straws. Why is that a problem for you?
Meetings can be for any reason. How would anyone on here know what a meeting you have today is about
Also check your severance package information. Make sure you’re on top of that.
If it is, best of luck. It can be anything. Hopefully not and if so, life goes on and you’ll be alright.
