They make you sign a 10 page legal document essentially saying you won’t sue or disparage them before they give you your severance. Not sure if it’s common practice, as I’ve never been “laid off” before.

I think the best option is to leave. Even Zen that had all of the info on layoffs was smart enough to leave GWT.
