Me; Mid 40s, 10yr Remote employee in Banking with a BAS in business. High GPA. Moved sideways in CS, claims at 35,000 a year. CEO embezzled and the company dissolved. True story. Lol
Trouble I’m seeing is most jobs want you to know Salesforce, or the recent software used. Have a license? Don’t care how stupid you are..just have one. Heck, our realtor didn’t even know about the Florida portability act. Yeah. You get the picture.
If the economy tanks, saleforce serves US and UK mainly. Isn’t this a ticking time bo-b? Maybe I should learn something else globally as a program? thanks to all the kind people sharing their experience.
Anyhow to sum it up the offer/info: $19.25 as a FT employee claims specialist Florida remote. No mandatory OT, no webcam monitoring.12 weeks training. Benefits. Fast paced with a 50% turnover rate(really? omg) Equipment and phone provided. 620 license paid. Great potential to climb the ladder. Woo-hoo.
My search: CEO just retired making $27 million in 2021. Nonstop phone calls, micromanaging, bossware, high cost benefits, and a train wreck in existence in claims for years. You will also raise your hand to go to the bathroom and like it.
I guess you gotta start somewhere, but this looks like a sh-t show for my future. Those who still work there, you will probably keep seeing, HS grads, moms, as your new co-workers. Don’t say it’s us newly unlicensed people. It’s not. I could get one, and perhaps excel. But this is a 100% pass for me. Any clear intelligent person with experience can see this a mile away. Please beg to differ.I was interested for a second there.
FYI, 3 Major CEOs of Florida health systems just coincidently retired too this year. Annual pension of 1 million a year on taxpayer money.
