I’ve been at this job for almost two decades, and I’ve never seen so many people - folks I don’t even talk to - straight up saying they’re job hunting. It feels like everyone’s got one foot out the door. And I've been here long enough to remember the time when everybody wanted to work here.

Massive layoffs are coming! Count your days, they are numbered.
Everyone everywhere is looking for jobs in this market and with the tech and all other retail brand layoffs the market is flooded with talent. Go ahead and look, but also be grateful for having employment because this isn’t the market to be hunting in.
When I was hired many moons ago, the orientation coach made sure to
mention that “Nike receives 10,000 unsolicited resumes per day” - with the subtext being that we were lucky to be here. And while I am grateful for my job, advancement opportunities have been few and far between for several years now. If you are in the early or middle stage of your career, seems like you would be remiss to not be looking for outside opportunities.
