So the next layer of the org chart came out earlier this week. In my BU really no news except a different job title, but no cuts at all. Guess they are saving those for the “worker bees” on the low end of the salary chain

Yes, of course..what else did you think? And also since the worker bees are on the lower end of salary spectrum as compared to the management, they have to get rid of a lot of them in order to make the Wall Street happy and mail those pretty dividend checks to investors.
The whole point of ENGINE is to cut individual contributors. Management will protect itself, even though they're much more responsible for the low ROCE that prompted all of this to begin with than any worker. It's just a human sacrifice to please Wall Street.
I think the real question here is “When am I going to be cut?” 🤣
