So how does hiring new managers that have been fired from target, Macys, wal mart improve the dynamics of the store? Please explain
Everyone is at belk for the money be it a low wage or a high six figure salary .

Store managers in my opinion have little to do with the success of the store, in fact most stores produce better numbers when the store manager is out of the building on vacation, sounds crazy? But it’s the truth. It’s the stores location that ultimately determines sales and success. Most belk stores are seeing a drop in sales because of the lackluster merchandise assortment and the lack of hours, people don’t want to wait in a line a mile long while granny tries to download the app at the register for the tenth time and then has to look up her belk card but can’t remember her social or find her ID, and customers are saying the same thing.
This is something that’s happening across the company. This has been needed for a long time, most of the store managers are there for nothing but the money and you can tell! Some Belk stores need some fresh management to help with metrics and the stores! When you work at a store with a poor store manager you will understand why Belk is letting them go.
