Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Greenville finally sold?

From the official corporate news site:

MELBOURNE, Fla., March 31, 2025 — L3Harris Technologies has
completed the previously announced sale of its Commercial Aviation
Solutions (CAS) business to an affiliate of TJC L.P. for $800 million.
The entire $800 million cash purchase price was paid to L3Harris at
the closing of the transaction.

Or is this old news? Anyway the gang down in Melbourne can sure use that cash (but not for employee raises or bonuses... don't be silly)
CAS specializes in commercial flight training, flight data analytics, commercial avionics and other capabilities. The business was formerly part of L3Harris’ Integrated Missions Systems segment.

This is not Greenville. It’s a completely separate business unit which include a few divisions, none of which were located in Greenville.

Woo, leveraged buyout... Best of luck everyone at CAS. You'll be paying that back the next few years. TJC will be ok! Smile 😊
