Has anyone liquidated their Cigna Pension Part A Amara and Part B upon moving to HCSC ?

Employees who started after 2009 don't have a pension, just the 401k. Employees who started before then have a cash balance pension plan, but it's frozen and Cigna isn't putting any new money into it, it just earns a small amount of interest each quarter.
I wouldn't liquidate my pension, it isn't very big but it grows through interest every single year. They froze it in 2009 so if you started after that date you won't have one. It earns about $1K a year.
I thought the Cigna Pension was bought out years ago?? You had option for a payout to covert to 401k
I was unaware Cigna had a pension. Are you referencing the 401k?

Why would one liquidate their pension?
