What is everyone thinking about layoffs in April? GK is taking the reins, I'm sure she has been sharpening the axe. Also congrats to U.S. Bank for reaching 1000 shares on the layoff.

Google this and Ai will give you an update: us bank layoffs 2025
Layoffs are happening now according to Newsweek.
Aware of layoffs coming in tech in June and July. Mid year will be rough in 2025.
Given how the last round went, I’d be less concerned about security in moving team to Poland and massively concerned about quality control issues. Last time it set sales teams on fire dealing with customer and operational issues. Such a massively bad idea
What backend depts from Elavon are going to Poland? There are not many left. I think it should be a huge security concern for a huge breach.
More Elavon customer support functions and complaints roles heading to Poland this month, no real reason other than cost savings, makes the bottom line number look better, showing savings but the impact to the customer and the headache to the customers are not survivable. Wall Street is onto this practice and is asking the questions why the business is not growing, cutting payroll is not a sustainable model for growth, the shareholders know that.
Absolutely. There are layoffs underway in April. Just like every month. Mention the department name and suddenly this site becomes both interesting and valuable!
Looking to reduce overall staffing 23.57% by end of Q2 and planning to close 643 branches nationwide.
Most of the comments on this platform are speculation or flat out lies. Keep your resume updated and wouldn’t hurt to keep an eye on open positions in your area. Best of luck to everyone and try not to put too much thought into what you read on here.
In GK's eyes USB Employees are to be as treated as well as the Dalit class in India.
I mean…I have nothing to do in my job when last year I was wildly productive, so it certainly feels like some of us are being set up for the axe. So much for years of experience and being a hard worker. What a deflating place to work.
The U.S. Bank layoff board has been shared 1k times on social media
"Also congrats to U.S. Bank for reaching 1000 shares on the layoff."
What does this mean?
