Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Contact Information

Since the job market su-ks in my area I will need to be prepared to file for unemployment.
Can anyone here provide a contact that can give me the information my state requires?
Good luck everyone and I honestly pray no one else has to go through this and hang their head in shame as I am now.

The contact that can give you the requirements for your state is Google.

You don't need to have a contact at Cigna to file for unemployment.
The unemployment office for your state will contact Cigna on their own and get whatever they need from them directly.

You can apply for unemployment online and just give the basics to unemployment office, such as how much your pay was, how often paid, etc. If on the application they ask for a contact at Cigna, just give them the main HR phone#/email.

You should be able to complete the process and get confirmation back from the unemployment office where they'll tell you how much $ you'll be getting and next steps re: payment details etc. within a couple of weeks from applying. Don't put it off, apply as soon as possible (on the first day when you're officially no longer employed.)

You requested a "contact" that can provide you with UI information pertaining to your state in particular, yet you failed to mention which state it is in which you reside.

HURRRRRRRRRRR

Is is really that difficult for you to do a simple search online for "_____ (your state) + unemployment insurance"? Here, I'll throw you a bone:

  • https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/unemployment-benefits-by-state

From here on out, you're on your own.

What an arrogant and rude response to include “no wonder you got laid off”. This person may live in a state where there is no Cigna office or may be just worn down by the overwhelming task of how to process losing a job. You have zero insight as to why they may have been laid off and comments like this are just plain offensive. Have you never asked a question where the answer seems fairly obvious but you just overlooked it? In a world full of keyboard warriors and their snarky responses maybe some kindness or empathy could be extended.
