I was filling out apps for the first time in decades and hit the contact current employer box like a brick wall. The last thing I need is Centene catching wind and deciding I’m “not loyal” before I’ve got an exit plan. So how is everybody ticking that box without getting shoved off the iceberg early?

Keep in mind when getting a house loan they contact your employers and do the same thing, as well as other milestones in your life so it shouldn’t be a big deal that “someone” needs to verify employment. And this company isn’t coordinated enough for dispelling anything damning like that down to your leaders. Centene does employment through a third party tnverify.com probably for this reason.
Google “Centene employment verification” and it should give you a link to instructions.
I’ve done both and never been denied an interview because of it. Realistically, all they can ask is if you are employed by them.
