Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Here we go again… opinion

So let’s get this straight.. again again.
DXC is cutting more client facing people to make room for the CEOs friends.
It appears we have hired a CRO who has ZERO experience in IT or professional services… has zero experience as a CRO… has never worked at a big 4 or anywhere that matters but will be DXC’s new Chief Revenue Officer. So the CEO brings in another “buddy” from his personal network to play a major role in a publicly traded company that no other company would hire for this role. It’s good to be friends with the CEO of DXC if you can handle the 20% drop in stock price since he took over.
Can someone list all the friends of the CEO that are now employed that have ZERO experience in IT services???? CRO, CIO, CAO, COO of CES….
Is he dead set on driving the company into the ground??? Cut people that matter to customers and bring in your friends is not a strategy that has ever worked anywhere!!

The best are leaving… DXC will be left with execs who are worthless but obedient to the CEO with zero relevant skills to run a services business

The executives finally figured out that growth means increasing revenue. Cutting just doesn't actually increase revenue like they thought. Cutting the people that had the expertise to bring in new business, a.k.a. revenue, also doesn't increase revenue. It's actually had the opposite effect. I think they hired a consulting company to tell them that. So how do you fix it? You hire one person who doesn't have any experience in the business and make it their role to increase revenue. That way when it continues to fail the CEO has someone to blame, and they bleed the company dry for a couple more years. It's classic distraction game. Make it seem like you're trying to fix the problem, while not actually fixing the problem. What a waste.

DXC doesn't care about DXC. DXC doesn't care about you. DXC doesn't care what the stock price does. DXC doesn't care about it's clients. This is the sad reality of the world we live in. Because most people who post on this site do seem to care, and worry that DXC clearly doesn't.

Yeah because what this company needs is another executive role and particularly one filled with a talentless star.

How have all of the other amazing star players done for dxc since their hire?

Why aren't these people given the boot when they don't shift the needle upwards at all after a year?

Why are the big investors not demanding heads on spikes?
