Were there people promised to survive the merger that got fired by HCSC? Ive seen conflicting stories so does anyone know if there were firings and if they were on Cignas side or HCSCs?

Wasn’t your job with HCSC a retention bonus enough?
Most companies just eliminate roles when there is redundancy for similar roles.
Who did they keep/who has stayed from the SLT? Hard to find out who is gone unless you got it word of mouth.

Which senior executives have resigned? I never saw a reorg announcement
I think a lot of Admin Assistants also were let go.
I'm in Cigna leadership and two employees were fired, both were Sr executives and while I am not privy to the specifics of what they received I know they did receive a healthy severance. Multiple other senior executives have resigned. MA is now down to only two senior executives. There have been no other firings or layoffs.
Severance wise for the first year HCSC has agreed to match the Cigna severance package for any employees who are let go.
Confirmed there have been layoffs with the conveying Cigna employees. Employees who previously worked at HCSC that conveyed over due to the acquisition we let go on day 1!!!!
Cigna couldn’t make any promises that HCSC would keep any employee. HCSC did not issue any retention packages for conveying Cigna employees. No one had any guarantee or even indication they were safe.
