I don’t think this post applies solely to the closing of home based care. From what I understand, there will be a lot of reorgs and layoffs starting this week.
Layoffs have been happening over the past year but I think the closing of the home based care department was the start of what we will see is a large reduction of positions across the board.

To be able to understand this one, someone would have to read through the comments on the two previous posts about Evernorth primary care, find the comment where someone said employees would be notified today, and guess that maybe that's what this OP was talking about, but still would have no way of knowing for sure. Posts like this make other employees wonder if there's something happening they aren't aware of! Wouldn't it be easier on everyone if posts were clear?

Agree with this so much so can people PLEASE start including a crumb of context in their posts!!!
A lot of times people post vague stuff because it causes more engagement so I’m not sure what the poster is trying to distract us from.

They told us Friday we were shutting down yet no one was given their final notice/severance package. Nearly a week of limbo for what? Cruel ba----ds.
