For a while I agreed to be inadequately compensated for the amount of work I was doing.
Now I don't want that anymore, because if DXC can't give the employees an adequate raise, then they shouldn't expect us to do anything more than what is necessary to get the job done.
Do they really think that we will stay here and work hard if we don't get the pay increase we deserve?

I haven't put in a real 40 hour work week in years ! And each year I don't get an meric increase where I beat most if not all of my goals , I do even less.
I understand and have had to fight that negative attitude myself. However, when one adopt this loser mentality, then one is only cheating himself.
YOU are the only one from whom you can steal time, talent and accomplishment.
1grg+1jqXEQuo. what an absolute bell end!
Management have no clue that many have determined - though DXC makes a poor employer it makes a cracking pension provider...
A different ballgame if you are 2 years away from retirement...
However, if you are not, then by "quiet quitting" you are not really doing yourself a favour, trust me.
You are just wasting your golden working years, imagining that you are having your "revenge" on DXC by not working and simply drawing salary.. whereas in reality, it is you who is losing out, not DXC or M2 and his cronies.
What you are actually doing is getting behind the curve in your career, where people junior to you are moving ahead of you because they do not work for a company called DXC.
They are earning way more than you, working in positions of power and responsibility, picking up more relevant skills and in general doing better than you.
Trust me, you have a lot to catch up on... you will realise it only when you move out of this cesspit... and the realization will dawn upon you regarding the valuable time you wasted in DXC
Always remember this sage advice: you are not your job: https://youtu.be/YHxwY3Fz2gU
Salvino and his cronies have calculated they can play the markets (to increase their pay and stock bonuses), without offering most employees a raise. In essence, they've decided to milk the company dry and sell the husk, rather than grow the business oganically.
They are charlatons of the first order.
Many people have posted on this site the need to believe in your abilities and escape to a company that values your skills, rather than endure this never ending spiral of attrition. But I also relate to the post below from DONTCARE, who understandably doesn't want to move elsewhere at this point in their career.
Be strong and believe in yourself!

I am retiring in 2 years and hopefully by then I will be taking 9 days off every month (or very close too it) as it is allowed per our Flex Vacation policy
