Help? Demotions?

I’m in finance in the Houston office. I have no idea what’s next. Will the re org mean demotions? It took me a while to get to my level. I wonder if they will pay us less if we do make it.

More work less people lower pay possibly ?

No one is getting demoted. This seems like the talk of someone catastrophizing.

Demotion = same base pay, but lower CIP and LTIP bonus targets

They are not looking to demote you. They want you out.

If you get paid the same what's it matter if it's a lower job or PSG?

You may have to settle for a demotion but you’ll keep your same salary. Which su-ks because you’ll likely be at the top of your CO. Been there.

If you’re in a team where a large portion sits in San Ramon should be golden as the AEOIS have been high. Odds are very low you will be demoted unless somehow your in the event and get placed in lower psg role. Overall the goal is to pay people less especially in finance which is why for non HIPOS the struggle for promo and advancement is real and to only get worse.

Just because you can apply to 1 PSG lower doesn't mean a demotion.
