@sk+1 I was just being nice, trust me as a middle aged white dude trying to get promoted I know all too well the racism. It’s not hard to figure it out when you are heads and shoulders more qualified but don’t get up to even bat at interviews and then comes the list of peeps who get promoted.
@hk+1. Funny how your type says biased against one group of people instead of saying he outright discriminated against the white race. State Farm is a very prejudice organization. Anyone who thinks differently than they do is shunned!
so happy to see ya go
What did the VP say that was so wrong? He admitted State Farm’s internal hiring practices are biased. Ummm they are very biased against one group in particular. So that was true. Then he opined on the probably poor choice to build homes where the fire occurred. That is true. So really it should be about the biases within SF against one group in particular and how should that be remedied.
The bad ethics is across the board with all SF leadership. It's inbred.
Previous log is referring to Haden Kirkpatrick, I think. Look up on utube. Multiple videos and reports he was fired after talking about SF. Really exposes bad ethics.
I can't believe people are defending what I consider a lost cause at SF. They have and since MT will always consider any employee below them a waste of capital. Disgusting ethics. When a VP uses language and talks about citizens on the record like this VP did, I consider it a company wide mandate at the top. More should follow.
Mmmhmmm.💩
I think its pretty well know the company is the problem. Sh-t head.
In 6 months you will be on that board complaining about what an awfull company you work for, maybe the problem is you? 💩
SF was once the desired employers because they treated employees well. Not anymore! They have taken away benefits and are ruling by an iron fist. There are better employers out there that are more competitive than SF. As long as you buy the Kool aid your drinking, you'll never learn the grass is greener on the other side now. They built a mess.
They don't care about you. Expect it.
You cannot have a life at SF. Have to fill out vacation request in October for the entire next year makes it impossible to make plans. And your life is on hold because you don't know if you will have a job or not, can't buy a new house, etc. Always in the "we better wait not sure how long my job will last" mode. Agree its the stupidest company ever.
Told someone that I actually have to fill out my vacation request in October for the entire next year and they were blown away. Thought I was making it up. NOPE. thats just one example of how Stupid SF is. And also only 6 or 7 allowed off a day so you have to stalk the calendar and try to bid on days every quarter. They thought that was the stupidest thing they ever heard. I agreed. And I told them this is just one example of the stupidity they force on employees.
Same here. Better pay. No micromanagement and manageable workload. Made the move 6 months ago and no regrets.
FYI. Progressive has totally remote jobs. Would make the move if I was younger.
