I am a young guy. The least experienced in my team so I echo some sentiment that I was maybe hanging fruit from a post of another guy.

I think overall yes to older people who are getting laid off, but if they start shipping jobs to India, Montreal, Alpharetta, Buda, or somewhere cheap then it might start to be a problem overall with the Firm and a change of economic power to southern U.S.

When you look at the overall numbers, it'll be 'hard to prove' but it certainly looks and feels that way - the loss of knowledge with the tenured folks will be felt.

Having been thru a prior WellsFargo RIF, it's like MS is taking crib notes from the pros. More to come for sure.

Yes, but largely due to older people having a larger salary. These are cost cutting measures so people in middle management will be targeted.
