I was part of last weeks RIF and I reached out to Florida unemployment to inquire about Sup pay and they said if Elevance pays more, I won’t get unemployment.. did anyone else receive the same information or can you please explain how this goes, thank you!

You should defenitly be able to get unemployment. You have to follow the instructions in the rif packet...and i agree Sub pay is a scam...years ago they use to give a true severance now just the sub pay.
You have to report it as sub pay....double check your rif packet and still file for unemployment just report it as sub pay not severance.
I did receive FL unemployment. When you initially apply for unemployment, there are specific instructions to follow in the paperwork you received on how to report SUB. Good luck!
