Aaaaaaaand there it is as predicted.
After nearly 11 incredible years at Pearson, I’m stepping away to begin an exciting new chapter.
I am deeply proud of the accomplishments made during this decade including transforming Pearson into a digital-first business, leading large-scale transformation, building connected and collaborative teams, and shaping a culture where people can grow and lead.
Thank you to everyone at Pearson and beyond for your support. Your encouragement and partnership have been meaningful and significant.
Special thanks to Albert Hitchcock CEng FIET Hitchcock, Andy Bird, Omar Abbosh, and the entire Pearson executive team for your leadership, trust, and guidance.
The Digital and Technology leadership team and entire organization – your discipline and focus on both innovation and execution have made a lasting impact on Pearson.
Welcome to my successor, David Treat CTO, who will take on an expanded role, including oversight of the Digital and Technology function and championing our innovation and AI agendas.
While I’m stepping away from day-to-day responsibilities, I will continue my work advocating for women in technology through Rewriting the Code, remain active with my work supporting MGT and The Vistria Group , and spending more time with my family.
Wait for the sycophantic drooling from the brainwashed the polite likes with no comments and the resounding scream of nobody caring. Bye bye now.
