Executive talk in shk today...Execs as usual pretending to care about customers and company. The only concern about dividend and buybacks and millions of stock options awarded to them. Who thinks all this exec series is waste of time and no one gives a sh-t really ?

The executives love hearing themselves talk. It's all bull... Rah rah this and that... And then layoff.... And then complain when employees don't trust them. The executives have lost the trust of the employees. We are here simply to collect a paycheck, before they cut our salary again. Remember do less with less.
I’m not sure why anyone would attend these voluntarily and use their limited life energy on it. It’s just not job essential information. I’m pretty sure people who do them are pressured to do them to justify their leadership status. Basically they are told they have to do this. There’s probably a box that the company needs to check somewhere
Realize that caring about the stock means caring about the company performance. If the stock appreciates because investors feel that the C-Suite is doing the right thing..either by creating new products, keeping existing ones alive,or reducing head count because more can be done by less...it IS all about the stock price. Remember, the board controls the company more than the c-suite folks...they answer to that board, and the board responds to shareholders. If the stock drops, shareholders sell..stock drops more...the board gets mad or the shareholders demand something needs to be done...so they replace the CEO, or CTO or CMO...one of the c-clowns. So its actually the same, just on a different level than what most of us live at. They are just working to keep their jobs as well. Simply the fact they don't have to worry so much (or shouldnt if they save 15% of the income like we all should do) if they lose the job. And there is that unwritten rule..once a C-clown, you can always find another job with the same title, doesn't matter if you sunk the ship...its the pedigree. 1,743 days and counting.....
They need body counts to feed their ego.
Are those the in-person only presentations? I'm curious who attends as I have no time to drop everything to attend in-person and no one I know attends. Shame too as some of the subjects sound good. What's up with that in-person-only thing anyway?
