Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Have we reached the tipping point?

We just wrapped up a weekend filled with 8 different TOC calls. There are mistakes happening all over the place. The same resources were stretched thin across multiple issues, and teams were left waiting because those resources were busy elsewhere. My team and I put in over 70 hours last week, but it still wasn’t sufficient. Our infrastructure and systems are beginning to break down. Reliability has reached an all-time low and continues to decline.

From the lawsuits and other actions, it appears that Rat is not a good person. Considering his work at Nike and now at Elevance, he seems to be an even worse leader.

Even worse are the number of people leaving because of leadership decisions and the fact that they are terrible people making terrible decisions. At behavioral I know of 4 key people in the last two weeks and a half dozen with second interviews ready to leave as soon as possible. It is not that leadership is irrelevant or bad. Rat and team are actively setting the company back years. They aren't stupid people so this HAS to be intentional.

Rat wasn't hired for his 'leadership' abilities (not that his past history reflected any). He was hired to be a hatchet man. I am so sorry your department is getting so shortchanged by it all.... Make sure to take care of you because this company doesn't care about you personally or professionally.

Hellevance must be gearing up for a sell off. No way they are gutting this company like they have and expect business and profits to improve.
