I spent the entire weekend worrying. Leaving some of us hanging like this is just extra cruel. I’d have much rather known last week if I was laid off than go through the torture of this weekend. The stress sent my anxiety through the roof. This place truly doesn’t care about any of us.

What's the alternative? All corporations are the same, MS not being the worst of them. You'll just be going in circles.
I am quite sure I'd be let go. I started applying 3 weeks ago for jobs. If you are feeling anxious, take actions, that would help reduce anxiety. Start preparing your resume and start networking.
I feel you. There are so many smart people there but management is very incompetent is some teams. I’m afraid they won’t even pay out laid off employees at this time.
I hate this company so much, if I get laid off and paid out for it it might not be the worst outcome. A bunch of arrogant and obnoxious leaders with hierarchical bloat and incompetent middle management.
Exactly. I felt you op! They don’t care about employees at all. I’m just a number to them. Even if I survived this round, I will start to interview once a week, build my connections outside and keep my skills sharp. “ PUT My OWN CAREER FIRST” is my top goal this year. Lol
