Can you get a severance package if you’re laid off for poor performance under an at-will employment agreement?

I am amuse that 360s this year were a little bad in general when in previous years they were great for individuals.
Sonething to look at for those that don't get laid off for 2025.
In response to your question, it may be a possibility since you were terminated with caused. Not to scare you, but this is the reality. Another guy mentioned Microsoft seems like that's the new trend. Make managers enter bad reviews for employees so that no severance is paid. Either way look at yours state unemployment laws.
