I agree I love me some Tex-Mex. I can't wait to move. So tired of the nut-jobs here with no idea how to do anything.
I'm hoping I can stay but will gladly welcome a job in Houston. I have lived there before and get along well, I love the food. I prefer the Tex-mex style of Mexican that they have there over anything. Give me some Herradura Margs and I'm good. You guys can keep sipping the cheap watery chards and sauv blancs.
How about this great decision by Chevron -
Invest more than half a million on an employee and family to go to MIT, and then letting them EOI lmao
How generous of Chevron!!
Try logging in before going to work Monday. If you can’t login then you’ll know.
Since there will be big cuts in some groups, it will be an exception for rejections. Almost all AEOIs will be accepted. That is why they are asking for the AEOIs.
OR... if you do get selected and are in SR, accept the job offer that moves to Houston and use that up to 12 months time to find a local job somewhere else. Depending on your years of service and the subsequent severance, it might be worth it.
There are quite a few of us in SR that haven't been here long, so we'll play the game.
One more day
If you didn’t AEOI you must apply for at least 1 job and up to 3. If you truly don’t want to go to Houston why would anyone NOT AEOI? Don’t you run the risk of landing a job that is headed to Houston because no one (or very, very few) are staying in San Ramon. Big gamble if you was severance.
Don’t get too excited about getting out of here quickly. There probably won’t be too many denials but the last working day for some may be quite a bit further out that you were hoping for.
9am Monday?? That’s when you start the day ?
I’m hoping Monday also but it will be staggered most likely
Excited!
