So many come to this site for information like it’s gospel, which is mistake number one. So then why would anyone be surprised that severance is a pipe dream. This has been shared for at least 18 months but it didn’t register because so many didn’t want to hear it.

22 years ago, the company terminated some 12,000 employee agents in one felled swoop and made them independent contractors. No more benefits, 401k, no severance, etc. Welcome to the club. Time to start thinking about yourselves instead of whining about how terrible you are being treated.
