Always keep an eye out for new opportunities. This awful place doesn’t define you. There’s something better out there, and you owe it to yourself to find it. Whether it’s now, a few months from now, or even a year later, the timing doesn’t matter. Just keep moving forward. Keep searching, and don’t settle. You deserve a workplace that values you.

Agreed. If you need a paycheck, that’s one thing. If you’re looking to build a career, grow within a company, get promoted etc then this simply isn’t the place. Since my time with the company both other employers offered way more promotion opportunities and career development than Allstate did. They have almost no regard for their employees and make it very clear how little they value them directly and indirectly. They are 100% beholden to the stockholders and that’s the bottom line.
I started here almost 3 years ago. I came from a competitor because I was interested in another role and felt locked-in at my last place. I thought the last place was bad at the time. I can confidently say this place is AT LEAST 10X worse. At least this can serve as an eye opener for any new potential employees. What ppl say here is true. It's a miserable workplace and unless you're desperate for a paycheck, decline the offer. If your thinking of working here, just don't. If you've already started as a new hire, get applying again. You can either choose to leave it off your resume or just be upfront and tell any potential new employer that you read the writing on the wall and you wanted to get a new job before your role was outsourced. It's true that you could easily be outsourced so it's not like you'd be lying. No shame in telling a potential employer that you're seeking stability and job security and Allstate has made it known that they want to offshore most positions. The line abt job hopping I see here is BS.
It’s true. But for recent hires, that may not be the choice since the market views them as job-hoppers even though companies hardly provide any training or benefits these days.
On top of it, there are hardly any jobs at the moment, at least in tech. Most of those are being shipped to India under the cloak of AI.
Very true. Joined a year ago. From day 1 it is always re-org. They don’t even know what they are doing
