Moving people from IEF to Completions

The announcement today that some folks are being moved from IEF to Completions, Ops, and Service has me worried something larger is coming.

Still on a hiring freeze to my knowledge. We're doing good performance wise but I doubt they're opening up the doors to newcomers due to tariff impacts on the business.

Just curious and asking for a friend, but how many new job titles will we have and wtf is up with the way the culture clowns in HR are naming our jobs. If the the cluster ph--k in completions is any indication of what CP o is doing we will never be able to understand how to get ahead in this company. Wait we are still one company aren’t we $$

Move engineers from the RDC Country Club and have them live with their creations on the factory floor? What a novel idea.

How many new Director positions will be created?

Same here. The announcements haven’t said there will be a layoff with this reorg, but neither have they said there won’t be. I don’t know Vicki that well but from the interactions I’ve had with her, she likes to be reassuring and I think she’d say something if there weren’t a downsizing coming. I’d feel better if we could meet our production targets, the company hired on anticipation of producing close to 200 planes a year. But the supply chain is still a dam mess, I deal with their shortages and little quality eff-ups every dam day. You scale back your targets, and they lay the engineers off. It’s all about those production rates.

Maybe a good thing to move to programs in production to review and fix all the mistakes that were overlooked in the model.

We did just complete two new programs... It is no surprise that they'd want to move people instead of just rushing out a new program. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Innovation, engineering, and flight. Under Vicki Britt. Sounds like “innovation” is coming to a slow down after G800 and she’ll be handing engineers to other VP areas.
