That’s what happens when you hire the caste system into the org. I’ve seen it time over time, check out American Airlines as a recent example.

They’re useless anyway.
Eventually only managers and the ELT will be left to supervise an army of contractors. Top notch work product from people working 4-5 gigs at a time just to pay off a family vacation to Disney world.
