Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

THANK YOU for giving Employees a VOICE!

This movement of honest, raw and real Employee contributions is very inspiring during a very non inspired time.

We have all been abused in the dysfunctional environment the past 5 years. The smartest people just recoiled and hid. The bravest spoke up and we're ridiculed, branded and ran out. And the weakest of spines and skills thrived as they capitalized upon the wave of dysfunction.

The every employee who shares, contributes,, warns, and supports the marginalized is the real hero here. Keep being there for one another. I'm very impressed. And most appreciative.

I suppose it’s a little bit like Stockholm syndrome. It’s not till you actually leave and see the way the market feels about Avaya that you start to realise they are out on their feet.

I would also add a note that has weighed on me. The VOLUME of people who were SHOCKED by all of this...did we really have that many people who buried their heads in the sand to not anticipate the inevitable unraveling?
