For this layoff wave, it looks more contactors are/will be affected. But is there any guideline for this layoff wave between employee and contractor? Will the contactor get the layoff benefit same as the employee?

Contractors are the first to go and this time it’s about reducing enablement cost which are the overhead employees that supports the business. Next wave is delivery which will be Q2
Contractors are almost always dismissed first, as there are few financial consequences for the company.
