Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Please move tech back to india

When Techline was based in India, it was wonderful. I LOVED knowing the second I had a tech problem, I would be off the phones a minimum of 1 hour.

Since IT moved to Texas, it’s much faster of a response time so I get back to work faster. No thanks, move it back to “save money”. Hilarious from a finance company. Cheaper IT means way more expensive all other groups.

The tech problems now are that Fidelity wants to waste money with marketing by keeping the Covid hires. Layoff enough Covid hires and hire engineers. Damn, sometimes people with formal education are worth the cost. Hire better tech people.

When tech was in india, I had someone lock my computer for half the day. She went to dinner and forgot to give me access back. Ahhh good times!

You su---r who ever posted this my team also has off shore india they are not knowledgable at all. We need to train them are not technical sound. I believe folks in US have more knowledge than the teams in India.
