You know what happens when a company refuses to give its employees proper raises for years? You get a hostile, disengaged workforce that doesn’t care about their jobs or making the company look good. Most of us are just going through the motions, doing the bare minimum to get through the day. I didn’t always feel this way - but DXC gets exactly what it gives in return.

I gave up on DXC some time back. They still pay me and loads like me to login, faff about saying I'll look at it. And usually before it's done it's no longer needed. It can't last. But I said that 12 months ago.
This is possible the worst environment anywhere and the new CEO is watching good people leave and bringing in his buddies who know NOTHING about our business.
I can not believe this is allowed to happen.
you know what happens when you don’t get raises for years at Dixie. You bi--h and forms like this and do nothing. I’ve been hearing the same cr-p for 15 years and all you people do is bi--h. Get a resume out and go find a new employer like I did and stop your godda-n bi--hing
Believe it or not - I sold my stocks at 96 — am not a smart stock market cookie, but I got out at the right time and was not greedy.
The executives just talk rubbish. I worked for DXC for several years. Was a high level manager of large teams. My teams continually exceeded financial plans and supported other accounts for positive and very good revenue and profit. But still getting a pay rise for team members was nearly impossible. It’s just bull what they say. Even when you hit all the metrics, quarter over quarter and year over year they still turn you down. They need to actually examine their metrics before they tell lies. I’m so glad I’m out of that place. They constantly dangle the carrot and never actually give it. Just makes me so angry to hear them say these things and mislead people.
"When I left the stock price was close to $100, but is now languishing around $17 on a downward trend. What level of bungling ineptiptude do these so called executives at the top have, to mismanage an established global business to this level?
Moreover, why haven't the major stockholders such as Blackrock and Vanguard kicked off demanding more capable people be installed at top of the stack, rather than the current crop of incompetant miscreants and cronies. "
The answer is that the $100 was a totally fake valuation. Manipulated by M1 until the bubble burst.
Nobody wants that back.
I think it's probably still over priced at $16...which is the same price it fell to when the bubble burst and it's definitely in worse shape than that now
@aa+1jpaxdxre I felt I worked hard and made a difference. I was rewarded with exactly the same pay rise as my colleagues who seem to have forgotten how to login let alone get any work done. Decided no point trying.
I retired from DXC some 7 years ago, but still regularly check back here to see if employees views of the Company are changing for the better. No chance it would seem; things continue to get worse, if that were possible...

Based on current performance, they clearly have no business acumen, let alone an understanding of how to get the best out of people.
I'm sorry, but to me it looks like DXC is a dead duck.
Chris Drumgoole said in a TH that payrises are not given based on years of experience but are based on WHAT you achieve and your responsibility and addition to the team’s growth. So just because you have been here for 10 years by just coming to work and not making progress does not mean you will get a payrise.
They're hiring at Capgemini....

Sure fire way to make yourself miserable. Su-k it up and grow, or move on.
Maybe but if you've got more than a few years working life left you might want to think about doing some of the available training and move on. Otherwise you are going to be bored sh1tless and when you do have to/ want to move on you'll discover you have no desirable skills.
I totally agree with you OP. That's why I finally quit this morning, amongst the reasons of keeping my sanity.
