I am a new hire (January ‘22) so this is my first go-around. Realistically, what are my chances of getting the axe?

You'll be fine for now but learn what you can and run as soon as you get a better offer.

zero chances they go after new employees hired fresh out of college.
New hires were excluded in the past.

Question is why would you join Intel in the first place, technologies used inside are ancient, salaries are far behind competition, and company is in free fall. If you get paid to leave it would be best possible outcome for you.
Safe as houses.. low cost employee during a cost driving headcount reduction. You'll be fine.
