I understand the layoffs and vendors but I feel you should have a choice if you just want to take severence and let go instead of being forced to work for a vendor in another country you have never heard of with no severence. I have tried to research the vendor but they don't have much online. To me this is so wrong

THERE ISNT GOING TO BE SEVERANCE, why do people keep thinking that?? They are switching you to a vendor so that they didn’t “lay you off” so your options are either take the sh---y job and if you refuse you quitting. Then the vendor will eventually lay you off or fire you but then it’s not Allstate but then.Yes it’s unethical but they don’t care you’re a number on a screen, their scheme is sh---y but it isn’t exactly rocket science
This is America. You are nothing more than "human capital" to them. They see workers as their property. Ethics went out the window in this country decades ago.
