I am happy to be retiring, it’s the right time for me, and I am hopeful that my leaving will preserve the jobs of one or more of my colleagues. To those that are “left standing”, I’ve been through many of these, and many people land on their feet, some do better than they would have if they had stayed.

Believe in yourself, and you will be ok. Never give up.

Have they actually given you an official date or is that date based on rumors? If it’s official, was it through email?

I haven’t seen a response yet on mine

agree we all consider ourselves as top performers, what matters though is who has been documented as a top performer in the flawed PMP system.

I’m afraid mine won’t be accepted. I’m a top performer on my team and we are already short staffed. Too young to retire, but I’m not moving to Houston.
