It will be at one on one with your manager unless your manager is also impacted and then it will either be them or your second level manager. You got two months to look for a job so it’s not really a layoff. Only in 2016 did they do the brutal inform you and walk you out.

When I was redeployed in 2020 it was in a 1:1 with my manager. Never received a layoff notice of any kind.
