I think its really sad when the senior manager of ASIC gives the impression that some associates will be rehired under the vendor to do the same job. When this is not the case. Other departments at Allstate seem to know more of what is going on then the employees in that department. These other departments were advised ASIC will be gone by the middle of next year and employees will be let go in waves until the vendor is full staffed and trained to handle the chats.

Let’s keep our facts straight: ASIC will be rebadging some employees to the vendor early next year. ASIC will fully transition to the vendor by spring/summer of next year with the rebadged ASIC employees. I was in the ASIC meetings and all this info was shared.
Posters here accurately laid out Allstate’s plans months ago.
They correctly predicted that the vendors were intentionally being used as a tool to avoid paying severance and that anyone who took a job with them would be promptly fired with no severance.
The "rebadging" is nothing more than moving employees somewhere else and being able to cleanse themselves of some moral obligation to offer severance for reduction workforce. These vendors don't care about your time at Allstate and certainly do not have any process of severance or unemployment. They have zero concern about showing you the door with nothing and this is the easy way out for Allstate. The company lost a lot on the mass severance payouts in 2020 and they have no intentions of going down that road again. Therefor you will be made someone else's problem with minimal to no expense to Mr and Mrs Shareholder.
Yup. I had the same thing happen at the Pacific Life company. Anyone who rebadged was cut soon.
