We aren't part of your layoffs right?

That's a separate layoff, exclusively for HESS personnel when the transition happens. You'll have loads of communications from your own supervisors and management regarding that. And a bit after, you'll have Chevron managements meeting with you telling/selling you how everything is hunky dory at Chevron.
We'll still need you. We have big plans for the Hess toy trucks, making them autonomous and such. We'll need all the help we can get.
They didn’t tell you?! You’re out! Later! I hear Exxon is hiring though….
You won't be part of chevron's layoffs, they just won't offer you a job if the transaction is approved and they don't need you.
The ho-o outside our building just got his EOI approved
Anyone is in scope. They’re laying off random people on the street. People who don’t even work for us!
merger will go through...
Is this a serious question?
Hess is a separate company.
