There are plenty of people in home based positions that live within driving distance of an office but were lucky enough to get categorized that way. Now HR is not approving requests to be categorized as home based. How does this make sense? Why should some people have to commute in while others in the same job get to be home? HR is run by id--ts but we already knew that.

I’ve noticed racial and age inequities regarding who is coded as remote in my department. My thoughts are that this is unintentional. How does an EEOC investigator interpret this data though? It doesn’t look good by a long shot.
They scream equity and inclusion and do the exact opposite. Everyone is talking about this today.
