I wanted to post and get your thoughts on what’s going on.. When we were promoted to our positions E13 and a 10% AIP in 2023 all was well. Until now.. we were moved down to E12s but explained that it was due to a request for market adjustment. No notification of this until one of us discovered it in workday showing E13 inactive and new proposed E12. We’re now seeing posts for positions in other departments with E13s but a 12% AIP. Is this situation common?

Not common and yes, this was a demotion.
I always thought you job level tied to a specific AIP bonus amount but I looked and E12 AIP amounts range from 7.5 to 12 based on job title. Weird. I hope they don’t lower your AIP %. I’ve seen a ton of people get demoted this past year. Done went from a Director to business consultant senior. How do explain that when you job hunt?
EH is scr_wing their employees six ways to Sunday. I am convinced there are Executive level 'culture' groups that sit in conference rooms together trying to come up with more ways to scr_w us while increasing their bonuses. Personally, my position level wasn't not altered but the salary range of the position was changed to a lower range. I was not notified when this change was made either. The AIP percentage did not change (...yet).
