Thread regarding ViaSat Inc. layoffs

MD is cringy

Giving out that huge 0 point Stars Award to everyone.

He shouldn't have done anything. Now he looks like a fool.

Give a runner a Star Award and he trips for a day, teach a runner how to take a selfie and he's a Star Everyday.

Also he gets up and wins the race

I had star points when I got layed off. Too many other things on my mind to cash them out.

Nobody gives sick time anymore. Take your vacation or just tough it out and infect everybody else.

So the Stars is the points for goods and services like gift cards etc? And Mark gave it out to everyone in the company a point value of 0? That's ... uuhh... Hmm

I got RIFd in March 2023 and that's all kinds of bizarre. How are the other benefits? Healthcare still good? (I miss that sweet, sweet insurance)

It doesn't count for anything when it's time for lay offs.

Same old lack of EQ in MD or any of the senior technical management for that matter. Depressing.

Everyone felt disappointed when they found out it was a worthless award
